Even such people exists in our society!!!

In a country like India where people are famous for hospitality and welcoming guests with a big smile, it is surprising to know that there are few who are heartless and does not know how to welcome a guest but at least not to insult them. I know I can't expect everyone to be sweet and nice to me, but in our country, should we not expect self-respect and courtesy????

It was a real insult and a bad experience that I had today when I had to meet a person for a good cause and the way I got treated by an educated illiterate women! Yes, I would call her an 'educated illiterate'! Do they ever learn 'hospitality' in their life ever?

A gentleman invites us in and a lady shouts at the top of her voice to get out showing frustration and their anger on someone who is very new to them! I really pity for what she is! I saw a perfect example of how a woman should not be! Though they are educated, there are still such people who exist in this world. I wish they are put in such a situation where they understand how it hurts when they are treated that way!

We can't expect kind-hearted souls everywhere and today I learn how the mentality of people changes! There are poor souls in our country who does not know to respect others! Richness and education is nothing when they don't treat other people with respect and love!

Sexual Assault and Molesting - Who should we blame?

There are reports of sexual assaults and molesting in the newspaper every day. Recently, there seems to be an increase in the rate of sexual assaults and I wonder when these will be stopped. Is this place not safe for young girls and women? "You wear an exposing dress so I rape you", "You come out of your home at night, so I rape you", "You roam with a boy, so I rape you", "I feel like touching you, so I rape you." It's not a blame game! What is causing a man to rape an innocent child?

Where did this 'rape' culture come from? When we are keen on implementing western culture by the way we dress and by what we eat, why don't we implement the punishments and laws from the western countries?

All Rapist should understand that they just prove that they are cowards by raping a girl who is no way related to them. The number of rape cases will never come down until a change happens with all men, who think of raping! It is their mindset that needs to be changed. They should have moral values and they need to understand the importance of life and overall they have to treat women with equal respect and care.

I always dream our Country to be a safer zone for women, where all men protect her and respect her. whom should we blame for the number of rape cases? Is it the men? Is it his mindset? Is it the society? The questions are unanswered till everyone understands the importance of their birth and live a respectful life!

My Very first cake decoration

"Are you going to spend Rs3000/- for a cake decoration?" was the first question that everyone asked me when I told them I'm going to a class. I too had a great confusion to attend the 4 hour baking class, but my passion towards cakes made me attend the class finally! My first every baking class though it was an expensive class, the techniques and ideas I have learned from there can be used life long...
Here is the picture of the first cake decorated by me!

God Confusion- Innocent kid - A funny incident

Fairy, a cute little Catholic kid aged about 4 years came to my house last week and she saw the photos of Hindu God's that was kept in my pooja shelf and started asking me who's photo it was. I said, 'it is God' and the little girl didn't know who was God. She asked me 'Who is God?'. I replied her 'It is Jesus'
Lord Muruga - The photo on my wall

She went close to the picture of Lord Muruga that was hanging on the wall and said, 'This Jesus is wearing Lipstick, Mascara and blush and full make-up and he looks beautiful' I burst out laughing the way she commented. 'Kids of this generations are clever', I thought to myself.
